A few years ago, I found myself at a crossroads. I was working 69 hours a week as a restaurant manager, pouring my time and energy into a life that left little room for what mattered most: my daughters and my passions. I realized that the relentless grind, though secure, was keeping me from truly experiencing life. Leaving behind the comfort of a steady paycheck was terrifying, but the cost of staying in place was far greater. I knew it was time to rebuild and rediscover myself.

The journey hasn't been easy. Moving back into my mother’s home with my two daughters was a humbling experience. Trading financial independence for a fresh start came with challenges that stretched me in ways I never imagined. But through those challenges, I discovered resilience. I learned to dream bigger, rewire my subconscious mind, and shed thought patterns that no longer served me. I now embrace life as a continuous journey of self-discovery and self-love, with no final destination in sight—only growth.

Why Sovereign Ambition? Sovereign Ambition was born from a childhood dream to write and explore the world, inspired by the likes of Anthony Bourdain. I've always been captivated by culture, culinary experiences, and meaningful connections with people who feel like family. Travel, finance, and lifestyle intertwine in my story because, for a long time, I believed that certain experiences were reserved for the wealthy. My goal is to challenge that belief—for myself and for others. This blog is a space where I share my personal, spiritual, and career growth while offering tools and resources to make travel and an abundant lifestyle accessible to more people.

A Glimpse into My Journey:
One of the most pivotal experiences in my life was returning to college at 27 with my four-year-old daughter. That path led to a full scholarship and a chance to study abroad in France—an opportunity I almost passed up because it meant being away from my daughter. Choosing to go was difficult, but it turned out to be a life-changing adventure that reignited my passion for travel and broadened my horizons in ways I never imagined.

Fun Fact: When I’m not writing, traveling, or exploring new ways to grow, you can find me crocheting. I dream of finishing a cozy comforter for my daughters, a small but meaningful symbol of warmth and love.
